YouTube Live Chat Mod Needed
I’m looking for someone that’s interested in becoming a mod for my YouTube live streams. I stream late night starting between 12:01AM and 12:30AM, 5 to 7 nights a week. The job is simple, to help me manage the live chat while I’m streaming, to remove all those that disrupt the live chat by spamming, harassing, or if I ask you to remove/ban someone from the live chat. Also, as a mod, you can talk, crack joke, shoot the shit, have fun with others in the live chat.

What is A Moderator (Mod)?
A moderator controls the chat, shares helpful links, deletes messages, blocks trolls, and briefly takes care of the administrative part of the stream. While one person may be enough, if you have many people chatting, you may want to have a team of people to help you moderate. This way, you ensure nothing is missed, and that spam doesn’t ruin your broadcast.

The Moderators Responsibility
The objective of the live chat is to build a community where can hangout, laugh, crack jokes, shoot the shit, spam emotes, ask and answer questions, post comments and most importantly, have a good ol’ time. However, you’re going to have those that that just want to be disruptive for whatever reason, mainly to troll. In which case, your job as mod is to defuse, remove, kick or ban any user that is being disruptive, spamming, harassing others in the live chat.
