Gameplay Factions
Fixed an issue with the Echelon Sonar Goggles pistol that caused it to be more accurate than intended while the player was airborne.

Added new sprint animations for pistols to improve the feeling and timing of our footstep SFX.
Attachments
Fixed an issue where some attachments weren’t applying ADS Speed changes as expected.
Increased the M249 LMG reload speed bonus of the Quick and Fast Magazines.
Increased the visible range of scope glint on Sniper rifles with the Variable Zoom, CQBSS, and Sniper scopes equipped from 100m -> 150m.

Devices
All devices have improved collision and are less likely to bounce off invisible geometry.
Grenades look better as they fly through the air, which is nice.
Flashbang now interrupts sprint and imparts a slight movement decrease to those affected.

Players may appear as offline when they are not offline in party management and other social screens.
Speech-to-text feature is not working on Xbox Series X|S.
If a player is killed while deploying a device, the next deployed device will drop at the player’s feet instead of being thrown. Inconvenient if it’s a frag grenade.

The XDefiant Test Server has concluded
Mark Ruin, the Executive Producer of XDefiant, just posted a little while ago that the test is over. All we have to do now is wait until XDefiant releases. As I’ve said before on Twitter/X, I wouldn’t be shocked if XDefiant gets released between now and early Summer. As I’ve said before, XDefiant is game that is not going to have a yearly release like Call of Duty, hence, Patches, updates, bug fixes, weapon balancing are going to be ongoing for the lifespan of the game. XDefiant is going to get bigger and better as time passes.
“Mark Rubin
@PixelsofMark
Thank you to everyone who played in our Server Test! The test is now unfortunately over. I’ll share more about the results after we go through all of the data” Mark Rubin Twitter/XI’m pretty sure that XDefiant, at some point, will release on Steam.
NOTE: Future XDefiant Patch Notes can be posted here for further discussions or debates
