Dirt 5 is fantastic. I enjoy sim and arcade style racing. Dirt 5 offers 375 races along with Playground and Gymkhana, is massive fun. However, the online multiplayer is fill with NPC that the only aim is to kill me and/ or my friends. The NPC train of thought is simple, there’s a wall, lets hit it at full force or, they recognize I’m human and kill mode is activated. NPC try to take me out every chance they get.

These moronic NPC have no concept of a race line, drift, or anything in relation to racing. It’s like putting an utter moron behind a wheel of an off-road car or truck and telling him to have at it. Instructions are simple, WIN at all cost! Just … win. Now, don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the demolition style racing (sarcasm). The only thing that sadden me is the slowness of my car an the inability to blow up one of the NPC’s car. Maybe just ram the car hard enough that the NPC would end up in Gran Turismo 7 multiplayer. One half of the car on PS4 and the other half on PS5 courtesy of my rage. Lastly, one thing I would love to see is Monster Trucks on tight technical tracks, should be fun. WHY NOT? is a game, just add it

If the Dev would bother fixing the rubber banding, Dirt 5 would be more enjoyable to play. It’s bad enough that pvp lobbies are dead, for the most part and NPC’s replacing empty spots. Nevertheless, it’s a constant battle. It still boggles my mind as to why the NPC would be programed to race like that. Don’t get me wrong, I love the aggression, but the idea is to master the off-road tracks, a few paint scratches here and there, but noting over the top. It’s Drit 5 not Dirt 5 Demotion Edition. Like, if, if you enjoy the aggressive style, then have at it. It’s really fun.

In My Opinion: Multiplayer lobbies are filled with overly aggressive NPCs. The Social Pit
