Baja: Edge of Control

BAJA Edge of Control HD is an outstanding, aggressive off-road racing game, game play and controls are solid. However, BAJA has some minor problems. Baja has a pit stop that’s pointless. Why? NPC never use the pit stop. NPC can have all 4 wheels wobbling, an engine that spews smokes and they just keep going. Speaking of smoke out of the engine, you can go to the pit and it On the other hand, when you run into mechanical problems, If Baja is going to have a pit stop, it should, 1) fix all aspect of the car. 2) NPC should make pit stops if necessary. Yes, it fast, but if you don’t have a huge lead, NPC will pass you in a span of 2 to 3 seconds. In short, the NPC’s mechanical problems are cosmetic only.

NOTE: Driving into the PIT STOP NEVER FIX RADIATORS. if you’re engine starts to smoke, good luck to ya.

Lastly, the online multiplayer is another problem. When I get invited, I get stuck in the loading screen. When I invite a friend, he gets stuck in a loading screen. The multiplayer aspect should be seamless. This has happened multiple times. This can be fixed with a patch in an update. One of the reasons why little to no one plays the online multiplayer, is for the reason I just stated. Again, if this can be fixed, it’ll be outstanding. As I’ve said, BAJA Edge of Control HD is an outstanding game, but minor bugs and problem should be, need to be ironed out.
