You have to sit there and wonder, what the hell is going through someone’s mind then they choose to charge player $250 dollars for a video game. I’ve never played Escape from Tarkov and yet, I’ve been interested in buying and playing the game since I’ve heard nothing but good things about the game. However, the new edition: Escape From Tarkov: The Unheard Edition is selling at $250.00. Below is a list of what players get when you spend $250 bucks.

      > Guaranteed instant access to closed beta
      > Digital copy pre-load
      > Access to PvE co-op mode with persistent progression. Progression will not be reset with wipes.
      > Enhanced stash size (10×72)
      > Unique in-game ID
      > Expanded PMC pockets
      > Increased Fence standing
      > More slots on the Flea Market
      > Unique in-game melee weapon
      > Increased mail retention time
      > Additional background screen option
      > Free access to all subsequent DLCs (Season pass)
      > Access to the Early Test Server (ETS)

There is no justification on planet earth as to why any game company would charge such a high price for a video game. Anywhere from $39.99 to 59.99 is acceptable, maybe even $69.99. It’s bad enough that Ubisoft is already getting heat over the $130 dollar price point for Star Wars Squadron, but $250 dollar for an edition? That’s just pay to win.
